Thanks to the dedication and energy of Moses Ekoi and his team of young people on sales and marketing, the solar power project, under its banner of ‘Climate Change Campaign’ is gaining ground, in spite of starting in the drought year with incomes at an all-time low because their crops had failed. The small solar lanterns enabling school pupils to study without the dangers of kerosene lamps, have proved very popular and these are in this year’s catalogue for the NOVC children. Registration of the FARLU organisation as a company, TECCO (Teso Energy and Construction Company) allows us to bid for larger contracts such as schools and district government solar installations and several school installations have already been completed.
